- Installation Notes (2/15/90)
-
- The installation procedure for the Macintosh Software Revision Localization Package
- has changed with this release.
-
- The first thing to do is to set-up MPW 3.0 if you haven't already done so. You must
- use version 3.0 or the tools in this package may not work properly. It may be
- possible to use these tools with MPW 2.0.2, but it has not been tested, and is not
- supported.
-
- Now that you have set-up MPW let's get the UserStartup files in place. If you were
- using an older version of this package, and you replaced the stock UserStartup file
- with the UserStartup file that came with the other package, rename the UserStartup
- file in your MPW folder “Old UserStartup”.
- Now move the UserStartup file from this diskette (from MPW 3.1) into your MPW folder.
- Now move the UserStartup•Localization file from this diskette into your MPW folder.
- The UserStartup files are now in place.
-
- Now move the folder named Localization from this diskette into your MPW folder.
-
- Installation is now complete. If you are running the MPW shell right now, select
- The Quit item in the MPW File menu, and save your open files if you want to keep
- them.
-
- Open MPW. Once all of the windows are open, and the beach ball cursor goes away,
- there should be a menu on the right side of the menubar named Localize.
-
- You are done verifying the successful installation of Macintosh Software Revision
- Localization Package.
